Ancient African Masjids
A coloring journey through the historic mosques of Africa, for curious hands of every age.
The Kithab Project makes hand-drawn coloring and activity books that celebrate Islamic heritage, beautiful architecture, and the quiet little moments in between.
Snapshots sent in by families coloring along at home. No filters, no staging — just quiet little moments with the books.

Hello!
I'm Zainab, a trained designer with a decade of professional practice and a master's in interior architecture.
Every illustration is drawn by hand. No AI, no generators, no shortcuts. The goal is simple: teach kids about Islam in a way that's joyful and digestible, and give parents a real alternative to screen time. Something that holds attention, builds focus, and lets kids grow into their faith and identity while you get a quiet minute back.
